Couples Retreats
The pace and pressures of life can place enormous strain on marriages. If you and your spouse find yourselves living in the same house but feeling disconnected, often misreading each other and nitpicking over things that normally wouldn’t bother you, this retreat can help!
The process combines information, practice, therapy, and structure to help couples get a clear picture of where the relationship stands and learn new skills to enhance the relationship. Because couples are here for such a concentrated time—and with our active, experiential techniques—we are able to show our clients what brought them together from their histories, how their histories impact the relationship today, and how their current life situations and patterns of interaction interfere and/or enhance the relationship.
We utilize scripture as well as relevant research, We teach clear and effective communication practices as well as tools to manage conflict more healthily. With these tools, you’ll be able to move through “stuckness” and into a more intimate, thriving marriage.

No couple is perfect. We’ve heard this simple truth so often in life.
And yet, by our actions, couples try to appear like they are.
They constantly rely on their own strength and develop numerous coping mechanisms to help them coast through the day-to-day. Instead of helping, this approach limits couples from developing their potential; it crushes them with life’s challenges and keeps them stagnant; they pretend to be happy but are highly dissatisfied. BUT GOD is a patient relationship development coach who never abandons us. In pain and weakness, He creates opportunities for marital intimacy, joy, and, above all, spiritual growth.
